I am not a soothsayer, I don’t think so. As I observe our world today, I can’t help drawing parallels to my dystopian novel Wave Rider. In the novel that takes place in the early 22nd century disease has decimated the population. The government lies as to the severity of the disease. When the deaths become more than they can explain away, micro chips are implanted to give the people a view the government wants them to see. Now granted, I don’t think the government has implanted chips to give the people a false view of the world, this administration has Fox News for that. Seeing the video of the sky in California, Oregon, and Washington State where it is blocked out by the smoke from the fire it is how I vision the world in my mind as I wrote my book.
Here’s hoping what I wrote is not the destiny for the United States.
